Xeikon Digital Press

In July 2005 we installed the second of our digital presses, a Xeikon 5000, this press complements our other digital press the Xeikon DCP50 press. This marked a major step forward in our digital capabilities and allows us to build on the success we have already achieved.

The Xeikon 5000 is a significant step forward in both digital print technology and quality. The Xeikon 5000 is the next generation digital colour printing press, the culmination of a decade of Xeikon digital printing experience, it is the only industrial digital printing press that faces long runs without breaking a sweat. What advantages does this new press offer?

• With the option of a fifth colour on face and reverse, spot colour matches are now possible ensuring that your corporate identity is not compromised.
• Up to 350gsm stock can now be accommodated further expanding the range of products that can be manufactured.
• With a running speed of 32ft per minute it is now feasible to produce competitive runs of up to 5,000 A4 sheets compared to traditional litho print.
• The improved front end operating system simplifies and enhances the use of variable data making more complex data integration projects possible.
• 3rd generation toner offering improved colour intensity and a wider colour gamut.
